So I’m sure you heard the report over the weekend that hundreds of revealing pictures of actresses were posted online. Hollywood names associated with the security breach are Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna and Kate Upton.
Apparently, iCloud was not hacked according to Apple and the photos were obtained by stealing them from other Internet sources. This has now become an FBI investigation.
Whether they were stolen from an iCloud like service or other means, there is no doubt that it is an invasion of privacy, however, with all of the publicity regarding Internet Privacy these days shouldn't everyone, including celebrities, be smart enough not to send anything from a smartphone, tablet, computer to the Internet? If you are going to take pictures like this don't send them anywhere!
