Greetings from Mobile
Generated News® MoGN!
Over the years we’ve seen Jet Airplanes painted
with advertising messages.
Remember what I used to call “The
Shamu Jet” which was a Southwest
Airlines Jet painted to look like a killer whale as part of an advertising
campaign for SeaWorld?
How about the All Nippon Airways planes painted with
Pokeman characters? Or another Southwest
Jet painted with a fashion model wearing a bikini?
Well the latest advertising gimmick for Jets will be the…are you ready? The “Hello Kitty” Jet from Eva Air, based in
Taiwan. It will be showing up regularly
at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
It’s not only painted on the
outside with the famous cat. Inside,
there will be Hello Kitty soap and tissues in the lavatories along with Hello
Kitty pillows. If that isn’t enough, the Flight Attendants will be wearing ― you guessed it...Hello Kitty
uniforms.
And just to complete the entire marketing experience, pins,
bags, necklaces, aprons and maybe more merchandise branded with “Hello Kitty” will be available for extra charge on-board.
So what do you think?
As we all know, advertising is everywhere. Would you become a Hello Kitty fan by flying
on this plane? Or is advertising out of
control?
I look forward to your comments.
