World Class Education for Free for Anyone, Anywhere

Greetings from Mobile Generated News® MoGN!

This past Sunday Night over the Labor Day Weekend, 60-Minutes on CBS reran a story about a non-profit, educational website founded by Salman Khan.  I missed the story when it first aired earlier this season.  It was about an educator with an idea and how technology made the idea a reality.

His idea was to teach a variety of subjects - mainly math and science online to reach as many students as possible. His teaching abilities connected with his students and he uses an electronic blackboard so that students can see math problems and science equations.  He has produced over 4,000 videos and has reached over a million students worldwide.  All of this for his non-profit organization and free to anyone who subscribes to his YouTube channel.

Khan is a graduate of MIT and Harvard Business School and believes that everyone is entitled to a world class education for free. It is an amazing example of someone wanting to do something positive for the people of the world and using technology to make it happen.

What do you think?  I look forward to your comments and questions.
