Greetings from Mobile Generated News® MoGN!
Field trips are an integral part of any student’s education. Often times, students have the ability to have an out-of-classroom experience based on the lessons they learned inside. Even adults can likely still remember a particular excursion that was both educational and fun. For some, it’s a trip to the zoo or the aquarium and for others, it’s a museum or cultural site.
I recently went on a field trip to Maroubra Beach in Sydney, Australia to learn about waves, winds, runoff, sand, and sealife for my Marine Environment course. While I was there, I snapped a photo (that you can see above) and posted it to MoGN’s secure database. My picture not only highlight’s my experience, but others can see it and learn from it as well.
The MoGN App can be used as a great teaching tool for students at the high school and college levels. I’d urge professors to promote the MoGN App in the classroom and when students are out and about.
At Mobile Generated News®, we want news consumers to be able to interact with local media for free. We believe that contributing to the news cycle is essential to our democracy. Most often, viewers do not get to control what they see on the news. Now, the MoGN App enables news enthusiasts to have a say in the content they see on their televisions, web sites and newspapers. We are trying to enhance the human experience when it comes to news. Download the Mobile Generated News App and become a Citizen Journalist! If you are out and about and see news, weather or sports happening, send in your Breaking News. If you have a story or opinion that’s worth sharing, record it and send it in as well!
