More Wearable Devices coming from Google

Greetings from Mobile Generated News® MoGN!

Although I don’t understand it -- I’ve said it several times in this blog -- More Smartwatches and other wearable gear are headed to the marketplace.

Originally, Samsung brought us the Smartwatch which only worked with a few of its Android smartphones. Now, many other manufacturers are getting into the act including Google, LG, Motorola and perhaps even Apple. Some of these offerings are very stylish compared to the large and clumsy looking first generation models.

I suppose that the Smartwatch was conceived as an accessory to enhance the use of your Smartphone. What this means to me is that it will virtually eliminate taking the phone out of your pocket or purse to check for new emails and alerts from various other Apps.

Have we become that lazy?

Isn't it just as bad to keep checking your Smartwatch in social situations?

What do you think?
