Greetings from Mobile Generated News® MoGN!
I am one of those people who will not have
healthcare on January 1, 2014. The
reason? My healthcare provider has
decided not to stay in business in the State of California. Good riddance!
A year ago when I went shopping for insurance for my family, the rate was $950 per month. Since then it has gone up twice and is currently $1,132 per month. The deductible is high and many routine preventative procedures are only covered partially.
Any alternative has to be better! I am one of those waiting until the government gets the bugs out of the system.
Oh, by the way, I received a very apologetic letter in the mail this past Tuesday from Adobe. According to their web site, “Adobe is the global leader in digital marketing and digital media solutions. Our tools and services allow our customers to create groundbreaking digital content, deploy it across media and devices, measure and optimize it over time, and achieve greater business success. We help our customers make, manage, measure, and monetize their content across every channel and screen.”
What did the letter say?
“I am writing to inform you about an incident that involved information about you. We recently discovered that between September 11 and September 17, an unauthorized third party illegally accessed certain customer order information.”
It goes on to say that. “Although our investigation is ongoing, we believe that the third party likely removed from our systems certain customer names, payment card expiration dates, encrypted payment card numbers, and other information relating to customer orders.”
So even experienced ,“Global leaders in digital media and marketing solutions,” have problems with their websites.
Regarding the healthcare glitches, obviously the Feds did a terrible job on the website itself, but that doesn’t mean that the new healthcare law is flawed. We all need to be patient in this world that depends so much on technology.
So what do you think? Download the Mobile Generated News® App and send in your own video commentary on this or any subject we talk about in the Mobile Generated News® Blog!
