MoGN Debuts at Excellence in Journalism Convention in Anaheim

Mobile Generated News™ MoGN spent the weekend at the combined convention of the Society of Professional Journalists, RTDNA and National Association of Hispanic Journalists this weekend.  Yours truly, Jeff Wald and Rick Ireton from MGN Online demonstrated the App and explained how it works to several groups representing many TV Stations around the country.  It was very well received!

This years attendance seemed to be up at the Convention.  There were representatives from Broadcasting companies and Journalism Schools.  Major Market News Directors were on hand to critique the work of experienced Journalists and Journalism students.  Scott Diener from KCBS/KCAL-TV ─ CBS, Los Angeles, Cheryl Fair and Executive Producer, Milli Martinez from KABC-TV, Los Angeles and Jason Ball and Human Resources Director, Barbara Lopez-Nash from KTLA, Los Angeles spent all day Saturday at their respective station’s booth patiently watching the audition reels of candidate after candidate.  Scott Diener told me that he may have found a News Producer prospect which “Made his day!”  Rick and I talked to a number of Reporters and Anchors from KABC-TV and KTTV, FOX, Los Angeles and they were very excited about the MoGN App and couldn’t wait to download it!
