Mass Shootings in the United States

Greetings from Mobile Generated News®  MoGN!
Another tragic event happened yesterday in Washington, DC.  It is unthinkable how many incidents of this kind we have had to endure in the United States of America.

I will ask many questions in todays blog and, quite frankly, I dont have the answers.

Would you believe that there have been 31 Mass Shooting incidents in our country, starting with Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999, including Mondays Navy Yard shooting?

Number of innocent children and adults killed: 278 (And by the way, this number may grow if more victims die as a result of the Navy Yard shooting)

278 families lost someone they loved over the past 14 years.

Are Mass Shootings becoming routine?  Are we in some sort of denial?  Are we just accepting this violence?

Why are there so many sick people out on our streets that perpetrate crimes like these in places like these?

There is not enough room in this blog to scratch the surface of Americans right to bear arms.

Instead, lets look for answers in the breakdown of our mental health system, our law enforcement infrastructure and budget cuts at the Federal and State levels.

Its not a matter of will there be another Mass Shooting its when?

So what can or should we do?

The madness has to stop.

I look forward to your comments.
