Spending a day in the music world at the NAMM Show

Greetings from Mobile Generated News® MoGN!

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. For those of you that don’t know, NAMM stands for the National Association of Music Merchants and the show attracts everyone from the music industry including artists, techies, and musical instrument and technical manufactures.

Above is a sampling of the action at one of the booths on the convention floor.

One of MoGN’s partners, Marshall Electronics in El Segundo, California, builds microphones and accessories for iPhones and iPads. Mobile Generated News clients and Citizen Journalists have access to Marshall’s MXL gear at a discount.  Marshall Electronics MXL was awarded Best of Show for the Mobile Media Line. Marshall, in cooperation with GoPro and Stream-Vu teamed up to offer streaming live video of the concert events that are always a big part of the NAMM show.  Here’s one of the Jumbo Trons with the streaming video:

Perry Goldstein, from Marshall, told me how they made the live stream happen in the video below:
